Ingredients for making Shrikhand-

-500 grams of curd

-150 g icing sugar

-3 grams cardamom powder

– 5 grams saffron

-2 drops of rose water

-10 ml milk (optional)

-Dry fruits chopped

Method of making Shrikhand-

To offer Shrikhand to Ganpati Bappa on Ganesh Chaturthi, first of all you have to soak saffron in 10 ml milk and keep it aside. After this, beat half a kilo of curd well in a vessel and add the remaining ingredients like icing sugar, cardamom powder, saffron and rose water and mix everything well and beat it. Your tasty Maharashtrian style Shrikhand is ready to offer to Lord Ganesha. Garnish it with dry fruit shavings and serve it chilled.
