What is the history of the temple
Many reports say that one day the king of Mewar was returning to his palace after a long journey and he had an idol of Ganesha in a bullock cart. The king wanted to build a temple and he had decided that wherever the cart stops for the first time, the temple will be built there. It is said that the king’s cart stopped below the Moti Dungri hills and this is the place where the Ganesh temple is today.
