In ancient Indian texts, many guide sutras are given to make every aspect of life balanced and meaningful. One of these is the Garuda Purana, which not only highlights deaths and later mysteries, but also explains how daily life can be made restrained and positive. According to Garuda Purana, if we start our day with certain rules and habits, then not only mental and physical energy increases, but new peaks of success are also easily received.

1. Importance of waking up in Brahma Muhurta

It is said in the Garuda Purana that a person should get up in Brahma Muhurta, that is, about 1.5 hours before sunrise. At this time there is positive energy in the atmosphere, which keeps the mind calm and the body moves towards activation. Sadhana, study or meditation performed in this time is many times more effective. This habit increases the decision, memory and morale of the person.

2. Greet the earth as soon as you open your eyes

As soon as you get up from sleep, the mother earth should touch and bow down. According to Garuda Purana, this feeling gives rise to humility and gratitude within us. Also, it communicates positive energy for the day and there is auspiciousness in deeds. This practice reminds us that we are alive on earth, we should respect it.

3. Look at your hands and pray

It is mentioned in the Garuda Purana that after seeing the palms of both your hands immediately after opening the eye in the morning, this verse should be read:

“Karagre Vasate Lakshmi: Karamadhye Saraswati.
Karmule tu Govind: Prabhate Kardarshanam॥ “

This shloka means – Lakshmi is in the front part of the palm, Saraswati in the middle part and Govind (Vishnu) in the original part. Therefore, seeing your hands in the morning gives the grace of all the deities. This practice increases the energy and self -power of the day.

4. Purification of ideas before bathing

According to Garuda Purana, purity of thoughts is not only necessary not only of the body but also the thoughts. Therefore, before bathing, take a pledge in the mind that today will be positive and creative. At the time of bathing, meditate on Lord Vishnu, Shiva or Ishtadeva and chant the mantra “Om Namo Narayana” or “Om Namah Shivaya”. This brings stability in the soul along with mental purity.

5. Water offering and Gayatri Mantra before meals

According to Garuda Purana, before eating food, a lota water should be chanting Gayatri Mantra by offering Arghya to the Sun. It is a symbol of honoring the Sun and it makes the food pure. This habit is not only healthy, but also balances the energy of our body and also benefits the digestive system.

6. Abstinence and Satkarma in day works

Garuda Purana not only religious, but also gives importance to practical lifestyle. It states that restraint and purity should be followed in day -to -day works. It is necessary to take care of your duties, time and feelings of others while doing any work. This not only increases the social honor of the person but also ensures success in tasks.

7. Spirituality and forgiveness prayer at night

Although this is the practice of the end of the day, it also mentions it in Garuda Purana to introspect before sleeping at night. Evaluate the tasks done throughout the day – what is corrected, what improvement is required. If someone has made a mistake by mistake, then apologize to your mind and pray to God that the next day is better.
