Farmers of Madhya Pradesh can get permanent pump connection for farming for just five rupees.
This offer is being given by the electricity company to the farmers of Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Electricity Distribution Company is going to provide agricultural pump connections to the rural agricultural consumers of Madhya Pradesh for five rupees.
Permanent agricultural pumps will be provided to farmers living near available power lines. The filling of new forms for consumers in the Saral Samarthan portal will be done by the officials working at the ground level. According to the rules of Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission, agricultural connection in rural areas will be given for just Rs 10. Rs 1200 per horse will be added as security deposit in the first bill received by the consumer.
