According to UIDAI, there is no minimum age limit to make Aadhaar card. That is, you can also make Aadhaar card of newborn baby. No fee is charged for making Aadhaar cards for children under 5 years of age.

How to make children’s Aadhaar card?

Many hospitals have started enrollment of newborns for Aadhaar and they also provide the Aadhaar acknowledgment slip along with birth certificate. At the same time, Aadhaar card can be made for all children under 5 years of age, including newborns.

These Aadhaar cards are blue in color and are also called Bal Aadhaar card. No biometric is taken for child aid. Only the child’s photo is taken for the base.

Also, it is mandatory to provide support for one of the parents. If both parents do not have Aadhaar, then they will have to register for the first Aadhaar.

How to apply

Go to the nearest base enrollment center
Fill by writing your Aadhaar number on Aadhaar enrollment form.
For enrollment of children under 5 years of age, one of the parents will have to provide Aadhaar details.
The address and other demographic details will be filled with parents’ base.
Submit a copy of the child’s hospital birth certificate/discharge certificate.
Aadhaar will issue an acknowledgment slip with executive nomination nomination nomination. You can check the base position using enrollment number.
