In today’s busy life, due to lack of good food and better lifestyle, diabetes has become very common. You will find at least one sugar patient in every house. It is very important to take care of diet in diabetes. If there is a slight disturbance in the diet, the sugar level increases instantly. Sugar patients often include dry fruits in their diet. However, there are some dry fruits which are not that beneficial for sugar patients. They should always be eaten in limited quantity or only after the advice of a health expert. Especially eating them after soaking them should be avoided completely. So let’s know about them.

Fig

Figs are a very nutritious and tasty dry fruit. It contains plenty of fiber as well as natural sugar. Diabetic patients should not consume figs in large quantities. Doing so can increase the blood sugar level suddenly. Especially in the morning, soaked figs should not be eaten on an empty stomach.

Raisins

Raisins are very tasty and also very beneficial for health. But it can be a little harmful for diabetes patients. Actually, raisins also contain natural sugar in abundance. In such a situation, a sugar patient should always consume raisins only after consulting a health expert. Eating soaked raisins on an empty stomach in the morning should be strictly avoided.

There are many benefits of eating soaked dates on an empty stomach in the morning. This eliminates many stomach related problems from the root. Along with this, the digestive system also becomes stronger. But diabetic patients should not eat soaked dates on an empty stomach in the morning. This can harm health instead of benefiting. However, diabetic patients can eat dry dates in small quantities.

Raisin

Raisins also contain a lot of natural sugar. In such a situation, diabetes patients should eat them in very small quantities. If your sugar level is very high, then you should consume them only after consulting a health expert. However, diabetes patients should not eat raisins after soaking them at all because this can increase the blood sugar level very fast.
