1) Drink plenty of water- Drinking plenty of water daily makes you urinate more and in this case any kind of infection can be avoided. Drink water throughout the day and whenever you feel thirsty to keep your body hydrated. This way the bacteria will get out of your body, and the chances of infection will be reduced. Include watermelon, cucumber and many such fruits and vegetables in food which have high water content.
2) Do not hold urine for a long time- During pregnancy, you should urinate frequently so that bacteria do not grow inside the bladder. If a person controls urine for a long time, then infection can occur. But if you urinate frequently, it will put pressure on the bacteria and help them to pass through the urine.
3) Use clove oil- Clove oil is known to have anti-microbial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. The anti-bacterial properties present in clove oil prevent the possibility of UTI. However, talk to your doctor before using clove oil.
4) Include Vitamin C in the diet- Including vitamin C in food can prevent infection. Along with this, it also strengthens the immune system. You can eat fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C. Oranges and kiwis are good sources of vitamin C. Ask your dietician to include it in the diet.

2) Wear light and loose-fitting clothes and innerwear. With this, keep the private part dry using tissue paper.
