The Yajna site of Brahma, the author of the universe, and the Tapasthali pilgrim of sages and sages, Pushkar, is situated between the Nag Parvat. Brahmaji’s only temple in the country is in Pushkar due to the curse of angry wife. Pushkar Sarovar was also built by Brahmaji himself. Just as Prayag is called Tirtharaj, similarly this pilgrimage is also called Pushkar Raj. Brahmaji, the god of Jyeshtha Pushkar, Lord Vishnu, the god of Madhya Pushkar and the god of Kanishka Pushkar, are Rudra. These three Pushkars have been formed from the lotus flower of Brahmaji. Karthik has the country’s largest camel fair in Pushkar, which contains a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. The caves of sages like Agastya, Vamdev, Jamadagni, Bhartrihari, etc. in Pushkar, about 11 km from Ajmer, the city of communal harmony, are still present in the Nag mountain as a penance. The temple of Brahmaji is built at the end of Pushkar’s main market. Adi Shankaracharya installed the statue of Brahmaji in Samvat 713. The present form of the temple was built by Gokalchand Pareek in 1809 AD. This temple is the only ancient temple of Brahmaji in the country. Behind the temple is the temple of Brahmaji’s first wife Savitri at an altitude of two thousand three hundred 69 feet from the ground floor on the Ratnagiri mountain.
This is mythology
The distance between God Brahma and Mother Savitri increased when Brahmaji organized a yagna in Pushkar from Kartik Shukla Ekadashi to Purnima. According to the scriptures, Yajna is not considered complete without wife. The auspicious time of worship was coming out. All the gods and goddesses reached the place of sacrifice, but it was late for Savitri to reach. It is said that when the auspicious time started passing, Brahmaji revealed no solution to Gayatri from the mouth of Nandini cow and married her and completed the yagna. Meanwhile, when Savitri reached the site of the yagna, she became angry after seeing Gayatri sitting near Brahmaji and she cursed Brahmaji that Prithvi residents would forget her and they would never be worshiped. But when he melted on the prayers of the gods, he said that Brahmaji will be worshiped only in Pushkar. That is why there is no temple of Brahmaji anywhere other than here. Savitri’s anger did not calm down even so. He also cursed the Brahmin who got married, no matter how much he gets, the Brahmin will never be satisfied. He cursed the cow to eat dirt in Kali Yuga and Narada to remain lifelong virgin. Agnidev also could not escape from Savitri’s anger. He too got curses of being humiliated in Kali Yuga. In Pushkar, Savitri, angry with Brahmaji, lives on the top of a mountain.
