In today’s run -of -the -mill life, where a person is running in the race to get something every moment, there is a feeling that can make the person mentally, emotional and spiritually hollow – that is lust. Often people consider lust as limited to physical attraction, but it also affects the confidence, thinking and entire life of the person. This is a subject that mostly ignore the society, but it is very important to understand its seriousness.
Lust and confidence relationship
Lust means – excessive desires, especially the desire of satisfaction of physical and physical pleasures. When a person becomes more involved in these pleasures, his self-confidence gradually starts decreasing. The reason is clear – lust controls the mind. This series of desires is infinite and as the person gets caught by it, his self-sufficiency, discretion and mental stability start to stagger.
Why is confidence declining?
Self -aggrandizement and guilt: The extreme person of lust takes the person on such paths where he compromises his principles and values. When he runs after desires by pressing the voice of his conscience, the guilt starts taking birth within. This self-aggression gradually destroys confidence.
Dependence on others: A person involved in lust makes his happiness and satisfaction based on external things or individuals. This dependence makes him weak from within, and he loses his thinking and decision power.
Meditation and depreciation of energy: A person who is immersed in lust, his mental energy and concentration also disintegrate. When the mind is entangled in temporary pleasures rather than a goal, self-respect and confidence weaken.
Concern of image in society: Often lustful behavior is considered to tarnish image in society. When a person feels that his conduct can harm his social reputation, he feels more insecure from within.
A cycle of fear arising from lust
Lust is not just an emotion, it is a cycle – desires, lack of satisfaction, desire again – and this cycle never ends. The more a person is attracted to it, the more he gets away from his spiritual force. When he repeatedly encroachs his boundaries, he starts to fear-fear of losing identity, fear of failure, fear of disdain with society. This fear gradually destroys his self-reputation.
Self -control: First step towards solution
The first way to conquer lust is – self -control. When a person learns to control his mind, only then he can re -awaken his confidence. This requires:
Meditation and Yoga: Regular attention purifies the person’s thoughts and gives him inner peace. Yoga teaches the art of controlling not only the body but also the mind.
Balanced lifestyle: With discipline, restraint and positive association, a person can overcome desires.
Study of scriptures and satsang: In the speech of Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads and saints, there is a clear discussion of both the side effects and solutions of lust.
Service and Philanthropy: When a person gets out of himself and serves others, his mind starts to Raman in high thoughts and he is away from lust.
When a person involved in lust peeks within himself, he realizes emptiness. But this is the moment when he can move towards self -determination and self -reform. Self -confidence is not an external object, it comes from within – and for this it is necessary to keep the mind stable. When a person moves out of the race of lusts and moves towards his spiritual uplift, only then his lost confidence can return. Because the confidence flourishes only where there is a residence of balance and satisfaction, not desires.
