There have also been many cases where ration card dealers or agents are collecting money from ration card holders in the name of e-KYC. They are being charged from Rs 10 to Rs 50. Such complaints are being received from many districts every day. This means that you will not have to pay a single penny to get a ration card.
This is how e-KYC can do
To get an e-KYC, first go to the nearest government ration shop in your area. Verify the identity through fingerprint or OTP on the Point of Sale (POS) machine available here. After this, submit Aadhaar card, ration card, residence certificate and passport size photo. The e-KYC process will be completed after all documents and identity are verified.
