There is no limit on changing the address in the Aadhaar card. But there are some rules for changing the name. According to UIDAI, cardholders can update the name only twice. If there is an exceptional situation, concessions are given by UIDAI. To change the name more than 2 times, you will have to go to the regional branch of UIDAI, from where you can get permission for the change.
How to change Aadhaar card?
Centers have been set up in the region to solve problems related to Aadhaar card. For this, ask the regional office to mail at help@uidai.gov.in. In which you will be asked for a solid reason for the change for the third time. Proof will be required for this. All the necessary documents will have to be submitted and a fee of Rs 50 will also be charged for this.
1- For this, download the form from UIDAI website.
2- Go to the nearest Aadhaar center, during this time fill the information asked in the form. Submit it to the center officer.
3- Along with this, documents for identity card will also have to be provided.
4- A fee of Rs 50 will be charged for this work.
5- After this, biometrics will be done, for which fingerprint and iris scan will have to be done.
6- After completion of this process, an update slip will be given.
