Humanitarian initiative of 6 doctors in Sultanpur, treating patients along with giving medicines for free

Sultanpur. Doctors are considered to be a form of God. A panel of doctors in Sultanpur is presenting a unique example of human service by providing free medicines to patients and treatment at a consultation fee of just Rs 10. Right in front of the District Magistrate’s office is Shaheed Veer Abdul Hameed Hospital, which is run by an NGO. Here, patients are being provided treatment along with free medicines.

This hospital is operating since 2021

Veer Abdul Hameed Hospital was established in the year 2021. This hospital is located right in front of the District Magistrate Office Gate in Sultanpur city. It is being run by an NGO Rotary Club Trans Gomti Sultanpur. Where hundreds of patients come every month for their treatment. The hospital also has many equipment for examining patients, which proves effective in better treatment. The equipment available in the hospital includes weighing machine, blood pressure measuring machine and diabetes measuring strips etc.

A team of 6 doctors are providing their services

If we talk about doctors, then a total of 6 doctors are providing their services in this hospital. From general physician to dermatologist, there are also doctors. Among them, Dr. Abhishek Pandey and SB Singh are general physicians, Neeraj Singh is a neurologist, Dr. Pradeep Mishra is an ophthalmic, Dr. Jai Prakash is a dentist and Dr. Prashant is a dermatologist. All the doctors are providing free services to the people of Sultanpur as a humanitarian service. If we talk about the opening and closing time of the hospital, then it remains open from Monday to Saturday from 3 pm to 5.30 pm and is closed on Sunday.
