Anger and ego – are two such feelings that deeply affect human thinking, relationship and behavior in society. Today’s high speed and stressful lifestyle has become common that people become irritable on small things or start thinking of themselves as superior to others. As a result, there are cracks in relationships, mental peace is disturbed and sometimes loneliness also surrounds. In such a situation, the question arises that is it possible to get rid of anger and ego? The answer is – yes. Self -determination, discipline and some practical measures can lead to control of these emotions. Let’s know how.

1. Understand anger, don’t press
Anger is not a bad thing, this is a common human reaction. But when it comes frequently and without control, it takes a devastating form. Instead of suppressing anger, he needs to understand. Why is getting angry? What did you trigger you? By finding answers to these questions, we get to know the root cause of our behavior and can move towards the solution.

2. Go to the root of the ego
Ego is often a mask of our ‘unsafe self’. When we feel insecure from within or doubt our ability, then we start trying to look better than others – that is the ego. It is necessary to accept yourself to overcome it. When we adopt humility with confidence and self-evaluation, the ego gradually starts decreasing.

3. Get mental stability through meditation and pranayama
Meditation and pranayama prove to be very helpful in controlling anger and ego. Daily meditation of 10 to 15 minutes, especially “Anulom-Antonyms” or “Bhramari Pranayama”, removes mental disturbance and transmits positive energy in the mind. This enhances introspection, which we can recognize the causes of our anger and work on them.

4. Learn the art of dialogue
Often anger comes when we are unable to say clearly or the person in front does not understand our feelings. In such a situation, the art of dialogue is very important. Speak in calm and clear words, listening carefully to the person in front and having a stagnation before reacting – all of this not only reduces anger, but also makes relationships strong.

5. Change ‘I’ into ‘Hum’
The original of the ego is ‘I’-“I did”, “because of me,”, “I don’t give me no tok”, isolated us. When we think of ‘we’ instead of ‘I’, we give importance to cooperation, participation and collectivity. It brings mental balance and helps in eradicating ego.

6. Learn to be silent sometimes
Keeping silent is not weak, but a lot of self -confidence. It is not necessary to respond in every situation. Sometimes remaining silent is the biggest reaction. When you feel that the matter may deteriorate or anger is climbing, then for some time, remove yourself from that situation and wear silence. This will give you time to think and handle the situation.

7. Learn to apologize after anger
Angry words are like arrows – they injure the front person. If you have ever said something wrong in anger, then apologize to the heart. This will save your relationships and maintain humility within you.

8. Keep a feeling of gratitude
When we learn to express gratitude for the small things obtained in life, then our negative feelings start to decrease automatically. Ego and anger are both feeling “incomplete”, while gratitude makes “perfection”. This feeling makes us calm and balanced.
