Sago khichdi
Sago’s khichdi is a recipe made during the fast. Everyone likes to eat it with great fervor. With this light, your stomach can keep it full for a long time. With this, you will not let you feel tired. Apart from this, it is gluten free. In the fast of Sawan, you can easily make sago khichdi. Know the simple method of making it.
Material for making sago khichdi:
1 cup of sago, 1 potato chopped, two teaspoons lemon juice, rock salt as per taste, a quarter cup green pea, a quarter cup of peanuts, 5-6 chopped almonds, 5-6 curry leaves, 1- green chilli chopped, half a teaspoon of mustard seeds, 4 teaspoon of mustard seeds, 4 teaspoon of ghee, 2-3 black chilli, garnish for garnish
How to make sabudana khichdi:
First of all, soak Sabuan for 4-5 hours in water. Then drain the water through the sieve. After this, add ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds to it. After this, add groundnut seeds, almonds and fry for 3-4 minutes.
After this, add curry leaves and green chillies and after frying 1-2 minutes, add potatoes to it. After this, add salt, pepper and a little water and mix it well. Now cover it with a lid. So that potatoes are easily cooked.
After a while, add sago and mix it well and close the lid and let it cook for 3-4 minutes in low flame. Your sabudana khichdi is ready. Garnish with green coriander and serve.
