Wearing black clothes should be avoided during Monday’s worship. If you are keeping a fast on Monday, then it is necessary to stay away from any kind of wrongdoing on this day. Tulsi should not be used in worship of Lord Shiva. While offering coconut, keep in mind that offering coconut to Lord Shiva is auspicious, but coconut water should not be offered. On the day of worship of Lord Shiva, you can wear green, red, white, saffron or yellow clothes.
Do not offer all these things on Shivling
It is very important to follow the rules while worshiping Shivling. Tulsi leaves, turmeric or vermilion should not be offered on the Shivling. It is believed that anointing Shivalinga with these things can cause a person to face many problems and Lord Shiva may get angry.
Offer water properly, otherwise there may be troubles.
If you follow these rules of offering water on Shivling, then the grace of Lord Shiva will always remain on you.
