Various schemes are run by the Central and State Governments for the poor and backward classes of the country, these schemes also include housing schemes. Under which people are given financial assistance to build houses and are given a permanent house. Now in Jharkhand also, preparations are being made to provide permanent houses to 20 lakh poor families. Here the state government has started the ‘Abua Awas’ scheme, under which the government will provide three-room houses to 20 lakh poor people of the state by 2027.
State launched the scheme
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced this scheme. These residences will also have separate kitchens and toilets. The CM said, “We demanded houses for eight lakh poor from the central government, but they refused to give money for it, after which we have started Abua Housing Scheme with our funds.”
Beneficiaries received acknowledgment letters
Approval letters have been provided to the beneficiaries of this scheme, on this occasion CM Hemant Soren said, “Today I have the privilege of issuing approval letters for housing to the beneficiaries on the land of Aba Birsa Munda. We will fulfill the promise made to the poor of the state. Targeting the central government over rising inflation, the CM said that first rice was missing, pulses were missing, now thali is also missing. These people say that now very few poor people are left.
Don’t know who is saying that the poor have left the country. They can see the minerals of Jharkhand from Delhi, but do not see the poverty here. To avail the benefits of this scheme, the beneficiary should be a resident of Jharkhand. The benefit of this scheme will be available only to those people who do not have their own permanent house. Apart from this, the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana have also not been kept under this scheme.
