If you do not arrive within 10 minutes of boarding the train, your seat will be cancelled, know what the rules say?

क्या ट्रेन चलने के 10 मिनट में नहीं पहुंचे, तो किसी ओर की हो जाएगी सीट

According to the new rules of Railways, if you reach your seat in the train 10 minutes late then you may have to face trouble. Now TTE will wait only for 10 minutes to mark your seat as occupied.

Because many times people used to reach their seats even after one or two stations. In such a situation, TTE could not know which seat was vacant. Therefore now TTE will give only 10 minutes time to the passenger.

Let us tell you that currently the checking staff checks the tickets through hand held terminals. Due to which information will have to be given about the arrival or not of the passenger. Earlier this formality was done on paper. But, now being online, the seat will remain unreserved if the passenger is not present.

Now after the new rules of Railways, the passenger will have to catch the train from the same station from where he has to travel. You will also have to register your attendance. However, if a person is not found on his seat even after 10 minutes from the boarding station, the TTE will consider him absent. In such a situation, you will have to pay attention to reaching your seat on time.
