While bottle gourd is beneficial for health because it is rich in nutrients, its taste is such that eaters demand it again and again. If you also want to make stuffed bottle gourd instead of ordinary bottle gourd, then today we are going to tell you an easy recipe to make.

Ingredients for Stuffed Gourd
Bottle gourd is most important for making stuffed bottle gourd. To make it, take bottle gourd, tomato, onion, garlic paste, ginger, gram dal, coriander powder, red chilli powder, dry mango powder, fennel, garam masala, olive oil and salt as per taste. Take all these ingredients according to the number of people you are eating.

– First of all, peel the bottle gourd and cut it lengthwise into equal pieces. After this, cut tomato and onion and make a paste of both and keep it in bowls. Now take the chana dal soaked overnight and grind it coarsely with the help of a blender and make a paste. After this, add oil in a pan and fry the lentil paste well and take it out in a bowl.

Now put the oil back in the pan and after it gets hot, add mustard seeds, onion paste, tomato paste and garlic-ginger paste and mix well. Cook while stirring in pan for about 5 minutes. After some time, add chana dal paste into it. – After this add turmeric and salt and let everything cook together. After 2-3 minutes add coriander powder, red chilli and fennel powder and mix. – After this add dry mango powder and spices. When the paste is cooked well, turn off the gas and let it cool.

Now when the paste cools down, cut the bottle gourd pieces in half and fill the paste in the stuffing. After this, again add some oil in the pan and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add stuffed bitter gourd in it and let it cook. Now cook the vegetable on low flame for about 10 minutes. When the bottle gourd gets cooked properly and becomes soft, turn off the gas. Now the stuffed gourd is ready. You can serve it with roti or paratha.
