Now people come to learn the nuances of apple cultivation from them. Currently Kaluram Jat cultivates Thai Apple Plum in 4 bigha land. His garden has 800 Thai Apple Plum plants. Kaluram Jat says that he is earning good money by selling Thai Apple Plum.
Kaluram Jat started the cultivation of Thai Apple Plum three years ago. A year after planting, plum fruits started coming on the plant. He says that he has been earning well by cultivating Thai Apple Plum for the last 2 years. Kaluram Jat said that it cost Rs 70 to plant a Thai Apple Plum plant. In this way, he had to spend more than 56,000 rupees to plant 800 saplings. Now he sells plum worth Rs 2 lakh every year.
Kaluram Jat, a farmer of the village, has 4 bighas of land. Earlier, he used to cultivate millet, jowar, wheat and mustard on it. In growing this crop, Kaluram Jats had to spend a lot of money along with hard work. But the benefit was reduced. In such a situation, the agricultural officials of the district advised Kaluram Jat to cultivate Thai Apple Plum. After this, Kaluram started cultivating it. Now he is earning lakhs of rupees annually from the cultivation of Thai Apple Plum.
