Can Yoga Reduce Heart Problems: Yoga can also be used to strengthen the heart. The habit of doing yoga daily is no less than a boon for your health. Especially to make the heart healthy, everyone should take out at least 15 minutes daily. This provides the heart with the necessary oxygen and nutrition. Yoga reduces stress, which is a major cause of heart diseases. Apart from this, meditation and breathing techniques give mental peace.

Benefits of yoga to strengthen the heart
Gokul Bisht, a yoga trainer from Rishikesh, told Local, “Yoga is an easy and safe way to treat heart problems. It not only keeps the body but also the mind healthy. Breathing exercises like pranayama strengthen the heart and improve blood circulation. On the other hand, asanas like Bhujangasana, Pawanmuktasana and Balasana strengthen the heart muscles. Yoga helps maintain a balance between the mind and the body, which improves heart health.”

Yogasanas for the heart Best yogasanas

1. Bhujangasana
To do this exercise, lie down straight on your stomach on the bed or yoga mat and keep both your hands in front of your shoulders. After that, slowly bring both your hands in front of your shoulders and keep the whole body straight. After this, lift your upper body with your arms and keep the part above your waist in the air while keeping your legs straight. Do this posture for 30-60 seconds.

2. Child Pose
To do Balasana, first sit in Vajrasana by folding your legs. After that, take both your hands up and bend forward. After this, take your palms to the ground. Take your head towards the ground. Doing this asana reduces obesity. Along with this, body pain and mental stress also go away.

3. Pawanmuktasana
To do this asana, just lie down on your back first and straighten your legs together. Now bring your right knee close to your chest. Bring the thigh to the stomach and press it well. Now put your beard on the right knee. When you take a deep breath, hold the knee well with your hands. On holding the knee well with the hand, you will feel a slight pressure on the chest, which is normal. Now loosen the knee while exhaling. Now do the whole process in this way with the left leg. After doing it once with both legs, do it with both legs.
