How to make Dahi Murgh
To make Dahi Murgh, first beat the curd with chicken masala powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, flour and salt and keep aside. Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium-high flame. After this, lightly crush cloves, black pepper, black cardamom and cinnamon in a mortar and pestle, add them along with dry red chilli and fry for some time.
After this, add onions to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn light brown. After this, add ginger garlic paste in the pan and cook till the onion turns dark brown. Now put the chicken in the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes. At this stage, add the curd mixture to the pan, mix everything well and turn the flame to medium-low flame. Cover the pan with a lid. Cook the chicken for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. If you find the chicken gravy thick then add a little water to it. After checking the salt, add lemon juice and mix well. Finally, garnish the chicken with chopped coriander and serve it hot.
