At the same time, many people eat heavy breakfast, so that their stomach remains full throughout the day. If you are also planning something similar then paratha can be a better option. People prepare Paratha in many ways and eat it with great gusto. This includes onion paratha, salty paratha, potato, radish or cabbage paratha etc. But have you ever prepared and eaten soya dal paratha? If not then you can easily make Soya Dal Paratha with the method given by us. Actually, both soya and pulses are protein rich foods. Its taste is such that children will ask for it again and again. Let us know the easy way to make Soya Dal Paratha.

Ingredients for Soya Dal Paratha

Moong dal- 1/2 cup
Soya Chunks- 1/2 cup
Flour- 1 cup
Ghee- 2 tbsp
Asafoetida- 1 pinch
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Cumin- 1 tsp
Celery- 1/2 tsp
water- as per requirement
Salt- as per taste

How to make Soya Dal Paratha

To make tasty paratha of soya dal, first of all you have to soak moong dal in water for 2-3 hours. Along with this, soak soya chunks also in water. Now take flour in a vessel, add salt, ghee, celery and mix it. After this, add water to it and knead it soft. When the dough is kneaded, cover it and leave it for some time. Now drain the water from the soaked moong dal. Add some ghee, asafoetida and whole cumin seeds in a pan and cook. Now add moong dal, soya chunks paste and stir well. After one to two minutes, add red chili powder, turmeric, salt and fry. Cook it while stirring until the water present in it dries up. Now make small balls of the kneaded dough. Take a ball and fill it with the mixture prepared from soya chunks and moong dal. Now roll it round, just like you roll it after stuffing potatoes, radish or cauliflower paratha. Place the pan or tawa on gas and heat it well. Place a paratha on the pan and apply ghee on both the sides and cook while turning. After this, take it off from the pan and bake everything in the same way. Now you can serve it with tomato sauce, pickle, curd or butter.
