Ingredients for making Cauliflower Cheela
a cabbage
an onion
two inch piece of ginger
Two green chillies
Four to five cloves of garlic
Three teaspoons gram flour or
1/4 cup soaked Bengal gram dal
A teaspoon of cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
Turmeric
Salt to taste
a pinch of asafoetida
Rice flour
Cauliflower Cheela Recipe
-First of all, chop the cabbage into very fine pieces.
-Now finely chop onion, green chilli, ginger. Also crush garlic and finely chop it.
-Mix all these things. Take two to three spoons of gram flour along with it. Or grind soaked gram lentils by adding cumin seeds and black pepper powder.
-Mix this paste in cabbage. Add turmeric and salt to this mixture.
-Add asafoetida and mix with hands. After adding salt to cabbage, it releases enough water. With the help of which bind all these things.
-For crispiness, add two to three spoons of rice flour.
-Mix all the things well with hands and prepare a solution like wet dough.
-This mixture should be so loose that it can be easily spread on the pan by holding it in the hands.
-Now place the pan on the gas and let it heat up. Then with the help of hands, take little amount of batter on the pan and spread it evenly.
-So that it becomes flat and round, and also gets cooked easily.
-Add some oil and cook on low flame and tasty cabbage cheela is ready.
