The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has asked the base holders to update their 10 -year -old Aadhaar. But it is a matter of relief that (UIDAI) has increased the deadline to update Aadhaar once again. Now this work can be updated for free by 14 March 2024 next year. UIDAI had fixed the last date for free updating Aadhaar on 14 December 2023, which was to end on Thursday. But by increasing the date again, the general public has got relief. Let me tell you that if your Aadhaar card is made before 10 years, then get it updated. UIDAI has said in this regard that this is not mandatory, but if your address has changed in the last ten years, you will have to update the Aadhaar card. How to update Aadhar Card
UIDAI has said in its statement that Aadhaar card holders can update their information online by visiting the Myadhaar portal. How to update Aadhaar card online for free
First go to the official website https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/. After seeing the information, select the Continue option to update the address. Then OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Then you have to click on ‘Document Update’ again. After which the current details of the resident will be seen. After this, Aadhaar users will have to verify their details. If all the information is correct, click on the next hyperlink. Then in the next phase choose the identification proof and address proof document from the dropdown list. After this, the cardholder will have to upload a scan copy of his address proof. You have to click on the ‘Submit’ button, then upload a copy of your documents to update them. After going through the entire process, finally the Aadhaar update request will be accepted and the update request number of 14 points will be generated.
