Some people turn on the clingy side of a relationship, which doesn’t always work out for the best. Most likely, a clingy person won’t stop calling, texting and getting suspicious every time you’re away from each other.

Their reasoning for checking in on you might be to allow themselves to feel more secure, but it won’t make it easier for you. You never know, but opening up about it might make your significant other understand how you feel and why they need to change their habits. 1- First of all, be honest about your feelings for your partner. Hiding them will only make things worse. Suppressed feelings will reduce your interest and everything your bae does will seem annoying. So, be honest so that you can move in the right direction.
2- Encourage your partner to take up an old hobby or meet their friends to get their mind off of something other than the relationship.
3- You may well ask to have some space in the relationship. And don’t beat around the bush when you finally muster up the courage to talk to your partner.
4- Now you might be wondering how to express your feelings? If you don’t want to hurt your partner, don’t try the ‘blunt’ approach. Try being more passive and say something like, “I appreciate everything you do for me, but I also need a little ‘me’ time.
5- Avoid using “clingy” or “needy” or anything that might hurt your partner. Any of these words will only come across as rude and make you seem inconsiderate.
