Vedas and Puranas have special significance in Hinduism. There are 18 Mahapuran in Sanatan Dharma, in which Garuda Purana is most discussed. Let us tell you that in Sanatan culture, Garuda Purana is considered to be the form of Lord Vishnu. This is because in this, Lord Vishnu has told his beloved vehicle Garuda Dev about some basic secrets of life. Lord Vishnu has also told some things through Garuda Purana, which is considered very important for a successful life. One such subject is that a person should deal with what work before sunset. This is because according to Garuda Purana, some works done after sunset can cause many problems. Which has a negative effect on life. Let’s know-
Do not sweep after sunset
According to Garuda Purana, a person should leave no stone unturned in the cleanliness of the house. This is because deities reside in a clean and holy house. But before sunset, complete the cleanliness of the house. This is because Goddess Lakshmi gets angry by sweeping the house after sunset and the person has to face problems in the economic field.
Do not donate these things after sunset
It is said in the Garuda Purana that donating is the ultimate religion of a person and by doing this karma, a person definitely attains salvation. But while donating, keep in mind that do not donate torn clothes or shoes to anyone and especially a Brahmin. By doing this, not only Vastu Dosha arises, but deities are also angry. Also, do not donate sour things like curd, pickle and onion, milk or salt etc. after sunset. Doing so is considered inauspicious.
Do not add water to basil
It is said in the Garuda Purana that a person should wake up in the morning and offer water to Tulsi. By doing this, both Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi are pleased. But do not forget to do this work even after sunset. In the evening, offering water to Tulsi, Goddess Lakshmi gets angry and returns from home. Due to which the family has to face financial troubles.
