Under this, no negligence is being taken in the security of not only the fair area but also the railway stations of Prayagraj. It is estimated that about 10 crore people will come to Mahakumbh by train. Railways is making all arrangements for security and order regarding this. For the first time, FR cameras are being installed along with CCTV cameras at railway stations during Mahakumbh by Prayagraj Railway Board.
FR cameras are effective in keeping an eye on suspicious activities and lawless elements with the help of AI. FR cameras work with AI technology. Prayagraj Railway Board PRO Amit Singh said that to make Mahakumbh safe and accessible for devotees and tourists, Prayagraj Railway Board is also installing AI based FR cameras along with all the security arrangements.
Face Recognition or FR cameras are capable of recognizing faces with the help of AI technology. They easily identify and locate suspects even in the crowd. So that suspicious activities in the crowd or stampede-like situations can be controlled before they occur. FR cameras can easily catch any abnormal events, reacting to them immediately to prevent accidents.
Prayagraj Railway Board PRO Amit Singh said that for the first time, about 650 CCTV cameras along with 100 FR cameras will be installed for the security of railway stations during Mahakumbh. Cameras will also keep an eye on the routes, shelters and platforms of all the 9 railway stations in Prayagraj city. These will be installed at railway stations with all safety measures by the end of December. All these equipment will start working in January before the start of Mahakumbh.
