Giving information about the scheme, the Ministry of Women and Child Development said that it has collaborated with the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BRR&D). Secretary Indevar Pandey informed about the improvements made in the scheme.

Under this scheme, Rs 5,000 is given in three installments by the Central Government to pregnant women and lactating women in the family. He said that the government may increase the amount in the near future. Also, this money can be given in two installments instead of three. At the same time, you can benefit again after the birth of the second child.

To avail the benefits of the scheme, the woman must also have Application Form A, MCP card, proof of identity, bank, post office or account passbook. To be eligible under the scheme, a claim for at least one antenatal checkup must be submitted after 180 days of pregnancy along with application form AB and NCP card along with documents. Apart from this, many vaccines are also required after the birth of the child. You can apply at the nearest health centre.
