Semolina – 1 cup
Curd – 1 cup
Baking soda – 1/2 tsp

– To make delicious idli for breakfast in the morning, first put one and a half cup of cooked rice in the blender and add one cup of water to it.
– Now blend the rice well and prepare a smooth paste.
Now take out the rice batter in a big bowl and keep it aside.
Now take a pan and add semolina to it and heat it on low flame.
Roast the semolina till it turns light pink and starts smelling good. – Now take out the semolina in a vessel and let it cool. After this, add one cup of curd and a little salt to the semolina and mix it well. Add this mixture to the rice batter and mix it well.
– Beat this entire mixture well for 3-4 minutes so that the batter becomes very light. – After this, cover the vessel and keep the mixture aside for 20 minutes. In this time, the batter will swell a little.
– Add water as required to the mixture and whisk it once again. – After this, add some baking powder to it and mix it.
– Now pour some oil in the vessel for making idli and add the prepared batter and steam the idli on medium flame for about 15 minutes.
In this time the idli will be cooked completely. – Now take out the cooked idli in a vessel.
