Kathal bhurji recipe : You must have eaten jackfruit vegetable many times but have you tried jackfruit bhurji? If not, what’s the delay? Jackfruit Bhurji is not only tasty to eat but it is also prepared as turmeric.
Ingredients for making Jackfruit Bhurji-
500 grams jackfruit
2 onions (finely chopped)
1 tsp garlic (finely chopped)
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp red chili powder
oil as required
2 green chilies (finely chopped)
salt to taste
Method to make Jackfruit Bhurji-
You have to take boiled jackfruit to make this recipe. Mash these boiled jackfruits. Now take a pan and pour some oil in it. After this, when the oil is hot, add fenugreek seeds to it. After this, add green chili, onion and garlic and fry it till it turns golden brown. When the onion is roasted, then add mashed jackfruit to it, keep frying it. After frying for 10 minutes, keep it on medium flame. Then add turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala and salt to it. Now if needed, add a little water too, so that the masala gets cooked well. After the spices are cooked, put green coriander on top and keep it to serve. You can also enhance its taste by adding black pepper to it. Your jackfruit bhurji is ready. You can eat it with roti or rice. Remember, do not eat curd or lemon with jackfruit, it can cause skin allergies and also spoil the taste of jackfruit.
