The Government of India runs several schemes to provide good education to girls to improve the future of girls. One of these schemes is Balika Samriddhi Yojana which is very beneficial for poor and needy girls.
Many schemes are being run by the Central Government for the education of girls in India and their better future. Under these schemes, the government has started these schemes with the intention of educating girls and giving them better future.

Girls prosperity scheme was launched by the Central Government to give girls a better future. The scheme was launched in the year 1997 by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. Under this scheme, girls from families living below the poverty line are benefited. Under the Balika Samriddhi Yojana, the government provides financial assistance to girls from birth to education.
In this, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 500 to the mother after the birth of the first child. After this, the government continuously provides financial assistance for girls up to 10th standard education.
Some important documents are mandatory to avail this scheme. Which includes Aadhaar card, ration card, birth certificate, parents’ identity card, income certificate, residence certificate, bank passbook details, passport size photo.
Applications can be made both online and offline to take advantage of this scheme. The form can be obtained by visiting the nearest Anganwadi center or healthcare center to apply offline. Under this scheme, girls from rural and urban areas are helped through various processes.
