Love is a sense that can neither be completely defined nor limited. It is a feeling that fills depth, heat and purpose in human life. But have you ever thought that love is not only one type? Actually, there are many forms of love, which are differently expressed according to time, situation and emotional engagement of the person. Let us know in detail how much love is and how every kind of love plays a special role in our life.
1. Spiritual love
This love is at a spiritual level. In this, one feels associated with any high power, God or existence, not with any person. The love between the devotee and God falls in this category. The devotion with which saints like Tulsidas, Meera Bai and Kabir loved God are the highest example of spiritual love.
2. Parent’s love (Parental Love)
The love of parents is considered selfless and the strongest bond. This love is without any expectation and the spirit of safety, care, and renunciation is paramount. A mother waking up for her child, father’s hard work day and night, this is the true mother-father love.
3. Marital or Romantic Love
This is the love that has an emotional, physical and mental association. The love between husband and wife is full of partnership, trust, respect and responsibility. When this love is true, every difficulty of life seems easy.
4. Friendship love
The love of friendship is considered to be the most comfortable, true and permanent. There are no conditions in it, just cares about each other. Good friends are the ones who stand together in every happiness and sorrow. The friendship of Krishna and Sudama is an ideal example of this.
5. Self love (self love)
It is also very important to love yourself in today’s time. It is not an ego, but a sense of self -esteem and self -acceptance. Accepting your own mistakes, giving yourself time and appreciating your feelings – all of these are part of ‘love of self’.
6. Love for Nature
Love of nature is the feeling that inspires us to connect with every form of life-tree, river, mountains, sky, animals and birds. This love makes us sensitive to the environment and leads life to balance.
7. Patriotic Love
The love for the country is the strongest and inspirational. When soldiers stand on the outskirts, they are not only doing duty, but are playing love towards their country. It is a symbol of love sacrifice and loyalty.
8. Universal or Humanitarian Love
This love is beyond caste, religion, language, color or class. This is the feeling that inspires us to compassion, sympathy and help towards every human being. Great personalities like Mother Teresa and Swami Vivekananda adopted this love.
9. Unrequid love
This is the love that is in the mind of a person, but the person in front does not feel or accept it. This love can be painful, but true unilateral love is also full of renunciation, loyalty and depth.
10. Eros – Physical Attraction
This love is based on physical attraction, which is often produced by someone’s beauty, personality or energy. This love can also be temporary, but if emotional engagement is added to it, it can turn into a deep relationship.
These diverse forms of love give life a new vision. Every type of love is precious in itself. While spiritual love leads to salvation, family love gives protection, and friendship increases the sweetness of life. Love has no shape, color or limit, its experience is the biggest gift of life.
