Make barfi with pumpkin
If you like to eat sweet and you also like to make different types of recipes at home, then make pumpkin barfi at home once. Its taste is so wonderful that if you taste it once, you will always make it. So, let’s know how to make pumpkin sweets
Ingredients to make pumpkin sweets:
Pumpkin, 1/2 kg, ghee – 1 tbsp, milk – 1 cup, saffron water – 1-2 tbsp, sugar – half cup, tandoori color – 2 pinch, mawa – 1 bowl, ghee – 1 tbsp, cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp, pistachios, rose petals and silver work for work
Method of making pumpkin sweets:
First step: First take half a kilo of pumpkin and wash it thoroughly and cut it into three parts and then rub it well. When the pumpkin is rubbed, then turn on the gas and keep the pan. When the pan becomes hot, add 2 teaspoons of ghee and then add rubbed pumpkin.
Second step: Now, cook the pumpkin on medium heat well. Pumpkin has to be cooked until its water burns and it is completely melted. Keep in mind that take it or cook it on medium flame.
Third step: When the pumpkin is cooked well, add one teaspoon of saffron water and half a cup of milk. Now, cook it once again until it becomes thick. Now add a pinch of tandoori color to it so that the color comes well. When the pumpkin mixture becomes very thick, then add mawa to it and stir again well. When the mawa is found well, after five minutes, add one teaspoon of cardamom powder and turn off the gas.
Fourth step: Now put this mixture in a container and keep it to set. Remove it after 4 hours. It is set well, now cut it with a knife like a barfi and apply pistachios, rose petals and silver work for garnishing above. Pumpkin barfi is ready.
