Makhana Mewa Paag Recipe

Recipe for making Makhana Mewa Paag:
First step- To make Makhana Mewa Paag, you have to take about 1 big bowl of makhana and roast it by adding 2 teaspoons of ghee. You have to roast the makhana until it becomes crispy from inside.
Second step- Now take out the makhanas from the pan and roast the cashew nuts and almonds in the same pan by adding 1 spoon of ghee. After this, roast the coconut powder in 1 spoon of ghee till it turns golden.
Third step- When the makhanas cool down, put them in the mixer and grind them into a fine powder. Chop the rest of the dry fruits finely. Clean the raisins and mix the roasted coconut together.
Fourth step- Now make syrup by adding sugar in a pan. You have to prepare the syrup in the same way as you prepare barfi. You have to make 2 string thick syrup. Add cardamom powder to the syrup for taste.
Fifth step- Now add the ground makhana and the rest of the dry fruits in the prepared syrup. Mix it well. When the entire batter starts leaving the pan slightly, take it out in a plate. Grease the plate with ghee first.
Sixth step- Spread the batter and let it set well and then leave it to cool. After it cools down a bit, cut it in your favorite shape. Makhana Mewa Paag is ready. This sweet can be eaten even during fasting.
