Make tasty laddus with gram flour sev and jaggery on Makar Sankranti, the method of making is easy

Along with sesame, jaggery and peanuts, laddus are often prepared in homes by wrapping gram flour in jaggery. Which looks tasty and is liked by everyone. So, if you want to try something new apart from sesame laddus this Sankranti, then try very easy sev and jaggery laddus. Note down the easy recipe.

Ingredients for making sev laddus
250 grams gram flour

100 grams jaggery

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

3 spoons refined oil for frying

oil for frying

Recipe to make Sev Laddu
-First take gram flour in a vessel and add one-fourth spoon of baking soda in it. Also add one spoon of fennel if you like.

-Mix the gram flour well and add two to three spoons of oil for kneading and mix well with hands. Due to which the gram flour starts binding together.

-Now add water and knead soft dough.

– Apply oil on your hands and pick up the dough and put it in the sev machine.

-Now put oil in the pan for frying and after it gets hot, take out the gram flour sev directly in the oil from the machine.

-Fry until golden brown and take out.

-If there is no machine for making sev, then you can make sev with the help of a ladle with holes.

-Crush the sev and cut it into small pieces.

-Now cut the jaggery into small pieces and put it in the pan. So that it can melt easily.

-Also add two to three spoons of water. Also add some desi ghee. So that the jaggery does not stick to the vessel.

-When the jaggery melts well, prepare the syrup. Put the syrup in water and check whether the jaggery takes a round shape at once or not. If it becomes round then it means that the syrup is ready. Keep the gas flame low and add the prepared sev and stir. So that all the sev gets coated with jaggery syrup.

-Turn off the gas flame and prepare laddus quickly by simply applying water on your hands.

-By the way, if you want, you can spread it in a plate and give it the shape of barfi.
