Jaggery Malpua Recipe
If you are bored of eating the same bread and vegetables, then make Malpua and eat it. You can make very soft pua with jaggery and semolina. The special thing is that you will not even need sugar syrup and flour to make pua. Children and elders of the house will also like this pua. Jaggery puas become so soft that they dissolve as soon as they are placed in the mouth. Let us know what is the easy recipe for making jaggery pua?
Recipe to make Jaggery Pua:
First step- To prepare jaggery pua, soak jaggery in a bowl. Do not add too much water to the jaggery. Just add enough water to submerge the jaggery. Now take 1 cup flour and half cup semolina in a vessel. Now make a solution of jaggery and mix it with flour and semolina after filtering.
Second step- For pua, you have to make a smooth and easily falling batter which is slightly thicker than cheela. Use milk instead of water to thin the batter. Now add half teaspoon ground cardamom, 1 tablespoon ground coconut and half teaspoon ground fennel to it.
Third step- After smoothing the batter, keep it for 5-10 minutes and add oil in a pan and heat it. Now take a big bowl and fill it with batter and pour it in the middle of the pan. Keep the gas flame medium. The pua will start spreading as soon as it is put in oil.
Fourth Step- Now let the pua roast for some time and when one side gets lightly roasted, hold the pua with a ladle or tongs and turn it. When the pua is cooked from both the sides, press and take it out. Similarly, you have to prepare all the puas.
Fifth Step- Eat these pua when it is hot or slightly cooled. You can easily eat this pua for 2-3 days. Children will also like their taste.
