papad cone
Kids love crispy and spicy things. That’s why they are very attracted towards chips, kurkures etc. But they get satisfaction from these things, but they do not get nutrition. There are also some health-related side effects. Therefore, make some such things at home, which they eat with their mind and they also get nutrition. Papad cones are a better option. Crisp and spicy in food too. It doesn’t take much skill to make it. Some preparation has to be done beforehand, but that too is not difficult.
To make papad cone, some moong papad, two medium sized boiled potatoes, half a bowl of kidney beans, black or white gram soaked and boiled, a carrot finely chopped, broccoli or cabbage cut into small pieces, some green Vegetables are needed. Cut the vegetables and soften them slightly in steam, then it is good. Apart from this, tomato sauce and pasta sauce or milk and whipped cream will be needed. One can also take a handful of cornplex or nachos.
First prepare the ingredients for the papad filling. Cut the boiled potatoes into small pieces. In this, add half a bowl of boiled rajma or gram, then add green vegetables and add half a teaspoon of chaat masala, a little roasted cumin powder, a little crushed red chili, two teaspoons of tomato sauce and two teaspoons of pasta sauce. Finely chop some green coriander, some ginger and one green chili and add it. Add required salt and mix well. Stuffing is ready.
You can make this filling more interesting as per your wish and keeping in mind the preferences of your kids. It is, in fact, prepared keeping in mind the taste and nutrition of children. You can also add some macaroni or boiled corn kernels as an experiment.
Now heat the tawa. When the tawa is heated well, keeping the flame high, place papads on it. Press and bake with the help of two spoons or fork. Make a cone by rotating it while it is baking. Just like an ice cream cone, so is a big hollow cone. Similarly make all the cones and keep them aside.
Now break in the stuffing and add some cornplex or nachos and mix it well and fill the papad cones and serve the food. Kids will love this tangy, crunchy cone. Why only children, elders can also be served as a snack.
Maggi Cutlets
Children love Maggi. Whenever his mind gets bored with home cooking, he likes to cook Maggi and eat it. Now children and teenagers are so addicted to Maggi that they like to eat Maggi even outside the house. But they do not get the necessary nutrition from Maggi. If this Maggi is prepared in a slightly different way, in the form of cutlets, then they will be eager to eat and will also get the necessary nutrition.
To make Maggi cutlet, one packet of Maggi, two boiled potatoes, one beetroot, two carrots, half a bowl of boiled and mashed green peas will be needed. It is very easy to make. Grate carrots and beetroot and squeeze them and separate their juice. This juice can also be added to the dough for drinking or paratha.
Similarly grate the potatoes. To put in this, finely chop green coriander leaves, ginger, green chilies. Add mashed peas to it and then add roasted cumin powder, chaat masala and half a teaspoon roasted maggi masala on top. Mix all the ingredients with a spoon.
Now mash half of the Maggi with your hand and make powder and grind half of it by grinding it in a grinder. Keep half of the ground portion aside in a plate. Mix both the remaining parts of the Maggi with the vegetables, mashing them well, so that the spices mix well. Then take a small portion and shape it into a cutlet with the help of palms.
Flatten or cylindrical, any shape you like, you can make cutlets. Spread a layer of ground Maggi on these cutlets and keep them aside. If you want, you can also keep it in the fridge for a while, so that it becomes hard. If you do not want to make and serve immediately, then these cutlets can be kept in the refrigerator for a long time. When needed, they can be fried and served.
Heat oil in a pan for frying. Keep the flame medium and put the cutlets in it and fry till golden brown. Then sprinkle chaat masala over them and serve hot with chopped onions or cabbage. Along with green or red chutney can be given. Not a nutritious diet.
