Makhana Chaat is a boon for diabetic patients, know the method of making it, it is ready instantly.

Lifestyle News Desk, Makhana is not only used for making sweet dishes and vegetables. The chaat prepared from this can also provide relief from many serious health related problems like diabetes. Along with antioxidants, many nutrients like calcium, magnesium, iron and phosphorus are present in Makhana. Which not only benefits diabetes but also helps in maintaining good overall health of the person. Actually, Makhana is a low glycemic food. The starch present in makhana is slowly digested and absorbed, which helps in controlling blood sugar levels. If you also want to include Makhana in your diet to control your sugar level, then make spicy Makhana Chaat instantly.

Ingredients to make Makhana Chaat
-two cups of makhana

-half cup peanuts

-two tablespoons chopped onion

-two tablespoons chopped tomato

-two tablespoons chopped cucumber

-one tablespoon green chutney

-one tablespoon tamarind chutney

-one tablespoon lemon juice

-teaspoon of salt

-one spoon chili powder

-two spoons chaat masala

How to make Makhana Chaat
To make Makhana Chaat, first dry roast the makhana and peanuts in a pan on low flame. Toss both these things until they become golden and crispy. Now take a small bowl, add chilli powder, salt and chaat masala, chopped onion, chopped tomato and chopped cucumber and mix everything well. After this, after adding green chutney and tamarind chutney to the chaat, also add roasted makhana and roasted peanuts. To garnish the chaat, garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Your Makhana Chaat is ready. Before serving it, add lemon juice to it. If you want to make the chaat slightly crispy, you can also add salt to it.
