Koderma. Wheat occupies an important place in people’s diet. Most people consume rotis made of wheat flour every day. According to Ayurvedic doctors, if some other grains are mixed and ground with wheat, it is nutritious and also controls the blood sugar level. District Ayush Medical Officer Dr. Prabhat Kumar told Local 18 that earlier people used to eat rotis made of different grains.
But, now this is seen very rarely. You can get wheat flour ground by mixing some things in it. The rotis made from this will benefit health in many ways. There are three such grains which are beneficial for health apart from diabetic people. People can get these two grains ground by mixing them in wheat. This also keeps the taste of the roti good and the body also gets many nutrients in the right amount.
Mix gram-millet with wheat
The doctor told that wheat can be ground by mixing gram and millet. If we talk about its quantity, then 50 percent wheat and 25 percent gram and 25 percent millet can be used. Millet is a treasure trove of nutrients. It contains carbohydrates, protein, amino acids, iron, zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, fiber and nutrients like riboflavin, folic acid, thiamine, niacin and beta carotene, which are essential for the body. These strengthen the bones as well as keep the digestion healthy.
Beneficial for diabetes patients
Further, it was told that its glycemic index is low and it is a gluten free grain, so it is beneficial for diabetic patients and is easy to digest. Along with this, fiber, potassium, vitamin B, iron, magnesium and selenium present in chickpeas promote heart health. Chickpeas do not contain cholesterol.
