Make delicious kheer for girl worship
Offering kheer during girl worship during Navratri is considered auspicious. Kheer prepared from rice, milk, sugar and various types of dry fruits tastes very tasty and is also quite nutritious. Along with this, there is a belief that Kheer is one of the favorite dishes of Mata Rani. Therefore, offering kheer during worship is considered very auspicious. In Kanya Bhoj, you can prepare delicious kheer and after offering it to Mata Rani, you can serve it to the girls.
Mata Rani’s favorite is Halwa-Puri
Prasad of Halwa-Puri is definitely offered in the worship of Mata Rani. Offering it during Navratri Kanya Puja is also considered very auspicious. If you perform Kanya Puja at your home on Navratri Ashtami or Navami, then you can make Prasad of Halwa-Puri to feed the girls. Even if you do not organize Kanya Bhoj at your home, you should definitely offer Halwa Puri Prasad to Mata Rani on Ashtami or Navami Tithi.
Must include black gram
The Prasad of black gram has also been given great importance in offering to Mata Rani. Make sure to feed black gram prasad along with halwa and puri to the girls. Without this, the Kanya Bhoj Prasad is considered incomplete. However, keep in mind that these should be made in a virtuous manner only. Avoid using excess oil and spices.
Offer fruits and sweets also
Make sure to include a fruit and a sweet in the offerings given to the girls. You can give any seasonal fruit to girls. However, banana is said to have special importance religiously. Apart from this, coconut is also given in Prasad. This is the same coconut which is placed on the Kalash in front of Mata Rani for nine days. Apart from this, you can give any sweet to the girls. Generally, the trend of giving batasha and laddu is quite high.
Do not use these things even by mistake in the bride’s party.
Apart from all these things, you can also include any other seasonal vegetable or fruit in the Kanya Bhoj. But keep in mind that the food should be cooked in a completely sattvik manner. Do not use too much oil, spices and things like garlic and onion in it. Do not include any fried food in your diet which is not considered good for health.
