Today is the seventh day of Navratri. On the seventh day of Navratri, devotees of Goddess Durga worship her Kalratri form. It is believed that this form of mother likes jaggery and things made from jaggery. By offering things made of jaggery to Mata Rani on the day of Maha Saptami, she becomes happy and fulfills all the wishes. If you also want to please Maa Kalratri today, then you can offer Malpua made of jaggery to her as Bhog Prasad. This Prasad recipe is tasty to eat and very easy to make. Let us know how Malpuas made from jaggery are made.

Ingredients to make Jaggery Malpua

-Half cup grated jaggery

-1 cup wheat flour

-half teaspoon fennel

-3/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

-Half teaspoon fruit salt

-Half spoon desi ghee

-Half teaspoon cardamom powder

-chopped pistachios

How to make Jaggery Malpua

To make jaggery malpua, first heat one-fourth water in a non-stick pan, add jaggery to it and cook on medium flame till the jaggery melts. After this, turn off the gas and keep it aside to cool down a bit. Now add wheat flour and fennel seeds in a vessel and mix well so that no lumps remain in it. After this, add cardamom powder, fruit salt and 2 spoons of water and mix it well. Now heat a non-stick pan and apply ghee on it and grease it. Now pour one teaspoon of batter on the pan and spread it evenly on the pan, giving it a round shape. Now cook the Malpua in ghee until it turns golden from both the sides. Prepare all the Malpuas in the same manner using the Malpua batter. Now garnish it with cardamom powder and chopped pistachios and offer it as Prasad to Maa Kalratri.
