Assembly elections in Delhi can be announced any time. Before the announcement of elections, Delhi Government has started the registration of Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana. Women of Delhi will not have to stand in queues to apply for the Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana. According to Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party team will go to every ward and register women. Women registering will have to keep their Voter ID card with them during this period. After registration, women will be given a card. They will have to keep this card with them. After this there will be verification. After verification, women will start getting the benefits of the scheme.
Women who are not taxpayers and are not receiving pension benefits under any government scheme will be eligible for the Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana. Women should be above 18 years of age, apart from this they should have Delhi Voter Identity Card and Aadhaar Card. Government employees will not get the benefit of the scheme.
