Students will get the benefit of Dr. Ambedkar Samman Scholarship
Former Chief Minister of Delhi and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal launched a scheme in the honor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar yesterday i.e. on 21st December, the name of this scheme is Dr. Ambedkar Samman Scholarship Scheme. Under this, SC ST category students of Delhi will get benefits. Under this scheme, the Delhi government will bear the entire expense of higher education abroad for SC/ST category students.
Regarding the scheme, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “I want to ensure that no person from the Dalit community is deprived of higher education.” For this I am announcing Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship. Now no person from the Dalit community should be deprived of higher education.” For students who want to study in top universities across the world, the Delhi government will bear the expenses of the students after admission.
Government will bear the entire cost of education
Let us tell you that under Dr. Ambedkar Samman Scholarship, any student of SC-ST category of Delhi gets admission in any university abroad. Then the Delhi government will bear the entire expenses of their education, travel and stay. Not only this, children of government employees will also be included in this scheme of Delhi Government.
