Oats are a healthy food, it is eaten in many ways. Some people eat oats made in milk, while some like to eat pudding made from it. But have you ever eaten uttapam made from it? To make Oats Uttapam you need-
– Half a cup of oats
– 1/2 cup semolina
– Half a small cup of gram flour
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– a pinch of baking soda
– Salt as needed
– 1 onion finely chopped
– 1 tomato finely chopped
– 1 capsicum finely chopped
– 1 green chilli, chopped
– 2 to 3 tablespoons coriander leaves
How to make Oats Uttapam
To make it, first make the oats batter. For this, put the oats in the mixer and then grind the oats finely. Filter it and take it out in a bowl. Then add semolina and gram flour to it. After this, add salt and water as per requirement. Mix it well and prepare a smooth mix without any lumps. Then keep it aside for 20 minutes. Till then wash and chop the onion, capsicum, green chilli, green coriander and tomato. After 20 minutes the batter will become a little thick, then add water as per requirement and then mix all the vegetables. Finally add lemon juice. If you want, you can add the vegetables on top without mixing them in the batter. To make Uttapam, heat the pan and then pour the batter on it. Add the vegetable on top and then fry it from both sides.
