Method to make Suji Halwa: How to Make Suji Halwa
First step: First of all heat ghee in a non-stick pan and add semolina and fry it till it turns golden. Roasting semolina well makes the halwa more delicious. Add milk to the roasted semolina and cook on low flame while stirring continuously. Cook the milk on low flame so that it does not stick to the bottom.
Second step: When the semolina is cooked, add sugar to it and mix well. If you do not want to add sugar, you can also add dates and raisin paste instead. Remove the seeds from half a cup of dates and then grind the raisins and dates in a grinder to make a paste. Now add this paste to the halwa. Keep in mind that you do not have to add sugar after adding this paste,
Third step: Now place a pan on the gas and add one spoon of ghee in it and when the ghee becomes hot, fry the raisins, cashews and almonds lightly and add them to the halwa. Now add cardamom powder and saffron and mix well. Garnish the hot halwa with chopped almonds.
