Recipe for making Panchakajjaya
To make this special recipe, measure the ingredients carefully. This will make it taste great.
Break the raw coconut and grate it. Do not use a very thin cutter to grate it. If you grate it a little thicker, it will taste better.
First of all, take a cup of jaggery and put it in a pan and melt it by adding some water. You don’t have to prepare the jaggery syrup, just cook it till the jaggery melts. As soon as the jaggery dissolves in the water and becomes a thick sticky solution, it is ready.
Along with this, crush and grind four cardamoms well and add them to the jaggery. This will give off the aroma of cardamom.
Now put two spoons of Desi ghee in another pan and fry the grated raw coconut. Turn off the gas when it turns slightly golden. And take it out in a plate.
Now again add half a teaspoon of ghee in the same pan and add chopped almonds and chopped cashews and fry them.
Add white sesame seeds and fry it.
When these three dry fruits are roasted, add poha to it.
Fry it lightly and turn off the gas. Add the roasted coconut and stir well so that all the things get mixed together.
Now pour the prepared jaggery solution into this mixture and mix it.
Just mix it well and offer Panchakajjaya to Lord Ganesha.
