Your permanent account number is an important document for Indians. It is a 10 -digit alphanumeric identity number that is used in India for tax, investment and other financial transactions. If your PAN card is accidentally lost or lost somewhere, you can apply online for its duplicate copy. Today we are going to tell you about its process.
Follow the steps below to apply online:
1. Go to the official website of Tin-NSDL.
2. Click on the “Apply online” tab on the home page.
3. Click on “Apply for PAN Card” option.
4. Click on the option “Repuishing for PAN card” option.
5. Enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number and date of birth.
5. Click on Czechbox and click on the “Proceed” button.
6. Enter your mobile number or email ID.
7. Click on the “Generate OTP” button.
8. Enter OTP and click on the “Submit” button.
9. Fill your personal information.
10. Upload your photo.
11. Pay the application fee.
12. Click on the “Submit” button.
13. You will receive a copy of the application. You can use this copy to check the status of your application.
Follow the steps below to apply offline:
Visit your nearest PAN service center. Fill up the application form. Submit the required documents. Pay the application fee. The application fee is Rs 110. You can pay the application fee through demand draft, check or credit card.

It takes about 15-20 working days to get a duplicate PAN card. You can get your duplicate PAN card from PAN Service Center or get by post at your home.
