There is a charge of Rs 10 per 24 hours for dormitory beds.
There is a charge of Rs 40 for retiring room from 24 hours to 48 hours.
There is a charge of Rs 20 per 24 hours for dormitory beds.
Room charges for more than 48 hours are Rs 40.

How to Book IRCTC Retiring Room Online

To book a retiring room, visit IRCTC website.
Here you have to select the Retiring Room option in the menu icon.
After this you will have to login to IRCTC account.
Enter your PNR number in it and click on search.
After this select the station where you want to stop.
You can add details like check-in or check-out date, bed type and then room type – AC and Non-AC.
After this click on Check Availability. After this you will be shown the availability of retiring rooms.
After this you can select room number, slot and ID card type.
Select the final payment option to make the booking and make the payment.
