Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM-Kisan) has become an important scheme for crores of farmers of the country. Under this scheme, the eligible farmers are given a total assistance of Rs 6000 in three installments every year. So far, the government has released 19 installments, and now the 20th installment is eagerly waiting.
The last time 19th installment was sent to farmers’ bank accounts on 24 February 2025. In such a situation, it is expected that the 20th installment will be transferred to the farmers’ account by the first or second week of June 2025.
How to check your name in the beneficiary list?
If you want to know whether the next installment will come to your account or not, it is necessary to first check whether your name is in the PM-Kisan beneficiary list or not.
Step by step process:
First of all pmkisan.gov.in Go to the website.
Select the option of “Beneficiary List” on the homepage.
Select the state, district, sub-district, block and village in the new window.
Click “Get Report”.
You will have a list of all the beneficiaries of your village in which you can see your name.
Who will get money and who will not?
The government has made it clear that only those farmers will get the next installment who have completed all the necessary formalities:
E-KYC should be completed.
Farmer ID should be made.
Bank account should be linked to Aadhaar card.
If you have not done these works yet, then your installment can be stopped. Such farmers are advised to complete all their necessary procedures by 31 May 2025.
How to do EKYC online?
You can EKYC from home or from a nearest Common Service Center (CSC).
Online EKYC process:
pmkisan.gov.in Go to the website.
Click on EKYC option.
Fill your Aadhaar number and captcha code.
Put OTP on the registered mobile number.
Your EKYC will be updated as soon as the process is completed.
If you are not able to EKYC by yourself, then you can get this work done by going to your nearest CSC center.
