Events News Desk!!! India is all set to celebrate the 76th Republic Day on 26 January 2025. This time, 75 years of the implementation of the Constitution are going to be completed, hence the Republic Day celebration is also going to be special. 300 artistes will open the parade on January 26 with various Indian instruments. This time, there will be a total of 31 tableaux in the function organized on Dharti Path on January 26, out of which 16 tableaux will be from different states and union territories.

There will be a grand display of military might and Indian cultural heritage on the occasion of 76th Republic Day on the historic duty path. Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) will also present its tableau, the theme of which is Raksha Kavach – Multiple Security against Multi-domain Threat. Advanced defense innovations will be showcased in it.

178 water warriors were called

178 Water Warriors from across the country have been invited as special guests to attend the 76th Republic Day Parade and meet Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil. Beating the Retreat ceremony will be held at Vijay Chowk on January 29 after the Republic Day Parade. Here the Air Force Band consisting of 121 musicians will present memorable tunes.

India’s progress in energy sector will be showcased

A tableau showcasing India’s progress in the renewable energy sector will be displayed in the Republic Day parade in the national capital. The Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) said in a statement that this vibrant exhibition will provide a glimpse of India’s emerging energy landscape and showcase the country’s unprecedented progress in the field of renewable energy. The tableau will mainly focus on MNRE programs as well as the ambitious initiative Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Free Power Scheme.

President’s address on the eve of Republic Day

President Draupadi Murmu will address the nation on January 25, on the eve of Republic Day. The Republic Day parade will start after the flag hoisting ceremony on the duty route. After hoisting the national flag, the President will take the salute of the parade. This year the Indian Air Force marching contingent consists of four officers (one military commander and three additional officers) and 144 airmen.
